Job Summary 

At MilVet Navigator (MVN), we are change-makers, innovators, and educators working to make education more efficient and communities stronger. In partnership with schools, we tackle some of the most complex challenges in military-affiliated education. Our platform delivers technical and automated solutions that empower Military-Affiliated (MA) students and the institutions that support them. 

MVN streamlines and automates key processes for Veteran and Military Student Services (VMSS) offices. It’s designed to complement—not replace—student information systems (SIS), integrating with existing tools to provide essential forms, reports, and workflows. This helps school certifying officials and other staff manage their responsibilities more efficiently. 

We are hiring a part-time Leadership Development Associate for Implementation & Training (IMT) to support and scale our client onboarding strategy while we assess long-term team fit and future leadership potential within MVN. This is a highly collaborative role suited for an experienced higher education professional or service-oriented project lead who is looking for their next career opportunity in ed tech or military/veteran student services.  

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead onboarding efforts for new client institutions including project planning, implementation support, and internal documentation. 

• Facilitate discovery conversations to understand institutional needs and translate them into actionable implementation tasks. 

• Develop and deliver training for client stakeholders on MVN tools, processes, and best practices. 

• Monitor implementation progress, help resolve roadblocks, and collaborate across teams to ensure timely, high-quality rollouts. 

• Contribute to continuous improvement of implementation materials, project templates, and training resources. 

• Track key milestones and assist in analyzing implementation outcomes across clients.

Client Relationship & Engagement 

• Strong client relationship and communication skills 

• Ability to manage expectations and adapt to changing needs 

• Effective presentation and facilitation experience 

Technical & Compliance Knowledge 

• Experience with military/veteran education benefits (e.g., GI Bill, TA, MyCAA) 

• Understanding of VA/DoD compliance and related regulations (e.g., MOU, FERPA) 

• Familiarity with higher education operations and systems (SIS, LMS, financial aid, enrollment) 

Project Management & Process Improvement 

• Skilled in documentation, standardization, and process mapping 

• Strong time management and attention to detail 

• Comfort managing multiple projects and competing priorities 

Problem-Solving & Tech Tools 

• Microsoft 365 proficiency (Planner, Forms, Excel, Outlook, etc.) 

• Ability to troubleshoot issues and recommend workflow improvements 

• Data interpretation and KPI tracking experience is a plus

Additional Details: 

Schedule: Flexible, with general availability during standard business hours and participation in biweekly evening team meetings. 

Location: 100% remote. MVN is a fully virtual company. 

Compensation: $20/hour, paid monthly as a part-time employee. 

Timeline: This is a short-term role with potential for long-term opportunities in 2026.
